Why we play
The Magic Garden was built from Jacob's vision of a place of initiation: somewhere you get support to know yourself, to feel better, and to find your own answers to who you are and why you are here. Music is our tool for that. It is the easiest way into other states of consciousness, where you can feel your own state begin to change. The Roundhall is part of a professional recording studio, built so that everything we play is recorded in studio quality – and you can come back to the music at home.
We believe there is far more between heaven and earth than the eye can see. Music is how we open that door: without words, and without asking you to believe in anything in particular. It can take you where words don't reach – if you feel like going along.
And then there is what happens between people. You are part of it, like everyone in the hall, each with your own energy – some lie still, some sit, and some get up and dance. When the whole room finds the same tone, a connection forms between us. Nobody arranged it beforehand, and that energy is what we play on. This connection is what we call our tribe: people who meet through the music – here in the hall and around the world, where members join live on the same evening. Our aim is to help raise the vibration here on Earth, one full moon at a time.
Every concert is born in the moment
Every month Axis Mundi Experience plays a full moon concert in the Roundhall. At the full moon, the Sun and the Moon stand in opposite signs of the zodiac – for example the Sun in Scorpio and the full moon in Taurus. We play from both: the archetype, the vibration and the energy of the Sun's sign and of the Moon's. Through the year's journey round the zodiac, we invite you to take part in the dance of the Universe. The signs are where we start. From there we improvise all evening, with you in the room: we see and feel what is happening around us, and the music follows it. Your presence helps to shape it, so the music is always new.
We hold the concert as close to the full moon as the calendar lets us – most often on the very day, sometimes a day or two before or after.
Next full moon: Tuesday 27 October 2026 – sun in Scorpio · full moon in Taurus.

How the evening unfolds
You don't need to know our whole world or understand every symbol in the garden. You can simply come and be part of it – and let it be an evening of music, presence and curiosity.
- 6.45 pm
You arrive
Come about a quarter of an hour early. Walk in through the green gate to the right of the big tree stump, then through the garden to the house at the back. Find a place in the Roundhall – you are welcome to bring your own meditation cushion or a blanket if you would like to lie down.

The garden path on a concert evening. - 7 pm
The concert begins
The lights go down under the starry ceiling and the 260-degree wide screen. Song, chanting, butterfly guitars, drums, rattles, singing bowls and electronics weave together into one soundscape that follows the evening's moon. The poet Tatsiana Rostved is often our guest at the start of the concert and reads some of her poems. You sit or lie down, and some people get up and dance when the music carries them. How you take part is up to you – but you are part of it from the first note: the music follows the room, and what you bring in becomes part of it.

The lights go down, and the concert begins. - about 8.15–8.30 pm
The music lands
The music lasts about an hour and a quarter – sometimes an hour and a half, depending on where it leads. Then there is time to land, at your own pace.

Towards the end of the concert. - Afterwards
Meet kindred spirits
After the concert there is tea and coffee, and time to talk with us and the others. Many people stay on, share the evening and meet like-minded people – sometimes a new friendship begins here. Or you can go quietly home.

Afterwards: tea, coffee and new acquaintances.
How to pay
The concert costs DKK 111. You pay at the door when you arrive, with MobilePay (the Danish payment app) or cash.

The band
Axis Mundi Experience
Axis Mundi Experience is Ecaterina and Jacob Moth – psychonauts and professional composers and musicians who specialise in music that supports deep inner processes. The music is meditative and trance-inducing at once, and it is created live, together with you and everyone else in the hall.
The instruments range from song and chanting, through Jacob's specially designed butterfly guitars with a built-in electric violin bow and light show, to shamanic drums, rattles, Tibetan singing bowls, synthesizers, loop stations and electronic effects. We call it multidimensional, transformative, shamanic sound technology.
The room
The Roundhall
The concerts take place in the Roundhall – the purpose-built round hall of Axis Mundi Studio, with a starry sky in the ceiling, a wooden floor and advanced audiovisual equipment, in a garden laid out around the 22 tarot cards of the Major Arcana.

Your first time? Questions and answers
Do I need to be spiritual to come?
No. Come for the music. Everything else is up to you.
Do I need to speak Danish?
No. English speakers are very welcome: the evening is music, and afterwards we are happy to talk with you in English over a cup of tea.
Is it like a sound bath?
In a way: you sit or lie down and let the sound move through you. The difference is that the music is played live and made in the moment – and you are part of it.
Can I lie down?
Yes. You can sit or lie down – bring your own meditation cushion or a blanket if you like.
What if I fall asleep?
That's fine. Many people drift off and wake up as the music lands.
Do I have to sing along or do anything?
No. There is nothing you have to do – lying still is fine, and if the music gets you up to dance, you are welcome to. Either way you are part of it: we hear and feel the room, and that is what we play on. You are free to simply be there, without sharing or speaking.
Can I leave early?
Yes, quietly. The door is always open.
How do I get there, and where do I park?
Kronprinsessevej 11, 3480 Fredensborg, Denmark. By train, Fredensborg Station is about 15 minutes away on foot. By car: out of consideration for the neighbours, everyone parks on Slotsgade, 222 metres away. From the street, go through the green gate and the garden to the house at the back.
Can children come?
Yes, children are welcome. It's a concert.
Can I join from home?
Yes. As a member of The Magic Garden Tribe you can follow the concerts online, wherever in the world you are.
From home
Can't be here in person?
Our online temple, The Magic Garden Tribe, lets you take part in the concerts and ceremonies wherever you are – and come back to the music afterwards. As a member, you also help keep the place open.
