The music
Axis Mundi Experience
Axis Mundi Experience is a Danish band: Ecaterina and Jacob Moth, professional composers and musicians who specialise in music that supports deep inner journeys. The music is both meditative and trance-inducing, and it is created in the present, in the Roundhall, to support the inner traveller.

The instruments
- Singing and chanting – Ecaterina and Jacob both sing
- Jacob's specially designed butterfly guitars, with a built-in electric violin bow and light show
- Shamanic drums and rattles
- Tibetan singing bowls
- Synthesizers, sound samples, electronic effects and loop stations
Jacob plays the guitars, the drums and the other instruments. With all of this we create organic, transcendental sound universes – our name for it is multidimensional, transformational, shamanic sound technology.
The music in a ceremony
In a retreat ceremony, the music is played live from start to finish – a six-hour landscape of sound from Axis Mundi Experience, The Magic Garden's own journey band. On an inner journey, music is the most important tool for guiding you. Jacob plays his two butterfly guitars, both of them sing, and their voices hold you and help you on your way.
We call it music as medicine: on an inner journey, it is the music that carries you and shows you the way.
At the full moon concerts
At the full moon concerts we play from the two star signs that the Sun and the full moon are in. Each month brings a new pair of signs, and the music is always new – because you create it with us, in the moment.
Next full moon concert: Tuesday 27 October 2026, 7 pm
About the full moon concertsThe recordings
The music from every retreat ceremony is recorded professionally. As a member of The Magic Garden Tribe, you can listen to it again afterwards and use it in your integration.
The Magic Garden Tribe is our online community, with over 400 hours of ceremonial music. At each retreat – usually once a month – you can join the ceremony online, and the full moon concert is streamed as well. As a member, you also help to keep the place open.
