Many have come before you, with an experienced guide by their side

Here some of them tell you what it was like.

How a one-to-one ceremony can support you

The ceremony is designed to guide you through a deep inner journey – what we call the Adventure of Self-Discovery: the way to knowing yourself better, and to your own answers to the old questions of who you are and why you are here. On the way, you can:

Ayahuasca ceremony in Denmark – the Roundhall in Fredensborg on a spring day, where your one-to-one ceremony takes place: the round house behind a tree in blossom, large stones and a green lawn
The Roundhall on a spring day. This is where your ceremony takes place.
  • Release emotional wounds

The ceremony lets you dive into your subconscious, where old traumas and unresolved feelings may lie hidden. There you can meet what has been holding you back – in a safe setting.

  • Gain deeper self-insight

Many people come to a new understanding of their life, their relationships and their purpose. The ceremony can help you see your challenges in a new light and work with them on a soul level.

  • Break free from stuck patterns

If you keep ending up in the same cycles in your life, the ceremony can help you see the blockages that keep you from moving forward.

  • Strengthen your connection to yourself

When life gets busy, it is easy to lose touch with yourself. A one-to-one ceremony gives you the chance to turn inwards and rediscover your authenticity, your intuition and your path in life.

Is a one-to-one ceremony right for you?

It may be, if you experience

  • emotional patterns that keep coming back and hold you back
  • an inner restlessness you cannot let go of
  • a need for deeper self-insight and personal growth
  • a longing to connect more with your inner self
  • a wish to make your own inner journey, at your own pace and with an experienced guide by your side

Not for everyone

A plant medicine ceremony is not for everyone, and it is not medical treatment – it does not replace your doctor or psychologist. Whether it is right for you is something we find out together in the conversation before we agree on a date. We ask, among other things, about your health and any medication you take, and we tell you honestly if we think you should not take part. You must be at least 21.

How a one-to-one ceremony unfolds

An inner journey has three phases: the preparation, the ceremony itself and the integration. The integration matters just as much as the journey.

  1. Beforethe conversation and the week before

    We talk together

You write to Ecaterina, and then we talk – about what you are looking for, your situation and your health, and about what a ceremony is and is not. Only when we both feel it is right do we agree on a date.

In the week before, you prepare: plant-based food, quiet and time for yourself – ideally in nature, with a journal or meditation. You receive written guidance once the date is set.

  2. The dayabout 6–8 hours

    The ceremony

The ceremony takes place in a calm, close and loving setting, where you can feel safe and open to the process. You lie down and travel inwards, and an experienced guide is with you all the way – with music, presence and care.

When you land, we invite you to draw or paint a mandala. It is a strong way to hold on to the experience while it is still fresh. Afterwards we talk about your journey.

During the journey your guide stays close to you – with a hand when you need support.
  3. Afterthe integration

    Integration

Integration support is part of the ceremony: we help you understand your experience and carry the insights into your everyday life.

Take the next day off if you can. You are still open and sensitive, and the experience is close. Write it down, and give it some time before you make big decisions.

More about Ecaterina

A participant's words

Ecaterina is a therapist I wholeheartedly recommend. She is a deeply trustworthy, professional and caring person who creates a safe space to explore even the most vulnerable areas of one's life. Her ability to support me through my inner journey has been invaluable, and her own experience of being on a similar journey makes me feel seen and understood on a completely unique level.

Thank you, Ecaterina, for your guiding and healing presence. Your support has opened a new universe for me, and I am deeply grateful for all you have done.

Questions and answers

What is the difference between a one-to-one ceremony and a retreat?

In a one-to-one ceremony you are the only participant, and an experienced guide is by your side from start to finish. A retreat is a journey in a small group of at most 11 – Friday afternoon, all of Saturday and an integration evening on Tuesday – where you also share your experiences with the others.

How long does it take?

The ceremony itself lasts about 6–8 hours. Set aside the whole day, and take the next day off if you can.

Is a ceremony a treatment?

No. A ceremony is not medical treatment, and it does not replace your doctor or psychologist. We do not promise a result either – what we promise is preparation, presence and integration.

I live outside Denmark. Can I come?

Yes. English speakers are welcome; we guide you in English. The Magic Garden is in Fredensborg, 35 km north of Copenhagen, and the way here by train or car is on our contact page. If it is your first ceremony, someone must collect you afterwards, so plan this before you travel.

Can I drive home afterwards?

That differs from person to person. If it is your first ceremony, someone must collect you.

Do I have to share everything?

No. You never need to share more than you want to, and you never need to do anything you are not ready for. You can always say no – in the conversation before and during the ceremony.

I am not sure it is right for me. What do I do?

Book a free clarity call with Ecaterina. It commits you to nothing, and you are welcome to write to us without it.

On the day I was very nervous, as it was my first journey. … But Ecaterina's lovely nature and great presence, and the caring person she is, gave me a huge sense of safety throughout the whole process.
