Hear it from the members

Three members talk about the music: how they listen to it, and what it brings into their everyday lives.

A letter from Ecaterina

Why we share the music with you

When Jacob began his journey, he asked himself two questions: Who am I, and why am I here? Many of us long to understand them. The Magic Garden is built to support you in exactly that – to come into contact with your heart and your higher self, and to feel your own answers. That is why we call the place a temple.

The music is born in the ceremonies and at the full moon concerts in the Roundhall. Jacob and I play it in the moment, and it is always new. In the Tribe you can take it with you: when you need to land after a journey, when you want to keep your inner work alive in everyday life, or when Fredensborg is far away.

When Emma told us that the music reminds her who she is and why she is here, I was deeply moved. Because that is exactly what this place was built for.

The Tribe is the temple online. You can be with us wherever you are in the world – and you help keep the place open, so the music can go on being born.

With love,Ecaterina

A place to come back to

The membership is built around the music from our ceremonies and full moon concerts. You can be there live when we play in the Roundhall, or return to the music whenever it suits you – on a deep inner journey, in the integration afterwards, or in the middle of an ordinary day.

And you become part of a soul family around the world who tune in with you.

  • 400+ hours

    Ceremonial music, created live

Among them more than 60 six-hour ceremonies and more than 50 full moon concerts. Axis Mundi Experience – Jacob and Ecaterina Moth – create the music in the moment: song and chanting, Jacob's butterfly guitars, drums, rattles, singing bowls and electronics.

  • At each retreat

    A six-hour ceremony, live

When we hold a retreat – usually once a month – the music from the ceremony is streamed live from the Roundhall, so you can be part of it from home while it comes to life.

  • Every month

    A full moon concert, live

The concert in the Roundhall is streamed live, so you can join in on the same evening – under the same moon.

  • At the same time

    Global Meditation

That is our name for it when people around the world tune in while we play in the Roundhall.

  • After your retreat

The music from your own ceremony

If you have been on a retreat, the music from your journey is professionally recorded. As a member, you can hear it again whenever you wish.

  • The whole book

    Land of the Nocturnal Butterfly

A temple is kept open by those who care for it.

The Magic Garden is temple work: a garden and a round hall, built by hand since 1995, a concert every full moon, integration evenings after every retreat. It is your membership that keeps the place going – and the music alive.

Your membership makes a difference, however often you listen. Some members use the music every day; others are with us because they want the place to exist. Both carry the temple.

You can stop at any time, no questions asked – thank you for the time you are with us.

What does it cost?

The membership has three levels, and the choice is yours.

  • €11a month

A supporting membership that helps the community grow and keeps the music going for everyone.

  • €3a month

A simple way to be part of it and support the music.

  • €22a month

A generous membership that carries the place and lets the music reach even more people.

The same music and the same access at all three levels. You simply choose how much you would like to contribute.

As a new member, you get the first month free. You can cancel your membership at any time.

You choose your level and pay in euros on themagicgardentribe.com – not here on this site.

The Tribe butterfly

A butterfly one and a half metres in size, carved from wood by one of our members and painted by 33 people together at the Magic Garden Festival.

The lights in its wings are the same as the starry sky in the Roundhall's ceiling.

It hovers just below the ceiling in the alcove – the small extension on one side of the Roundhall that gives the hall its key shape.

The room the music comes from

In 1995 Jacob Moth started building The Magic Garden from his own vision. Ecaterina joined him in 1999, and we are building still.

The Roundhall is part of Axis Mundi Studio, a building of 123.4 m² that forms a key when you look down on it from above. Around it lies a garden laid out around the 22 tarot cards of the Major Arcana, in Fredensborg, 35 km north of Copenhagen.

How we look after the online space

Jacob and Ecaterina play live from the Roundhall themselves.

The music is in a members' area that you log in to with your own account. Your login is personal and for you alone.

You leave from your account on themagicgardentribe.com; if you leave during the free month, nothing is charged.

The music is for your own inner work. It is not treatment, therapy or emergency help, and we do not promise any particular result.

Members in their own words

I’m usually careful with music for inner work, because a lot of it sounds beautiful and pleasant but does not really take me anywhere. When I first heard this, it felt grounded and genuine. I could feel there was real depth in it, and that it came from lived experience.

What I found here was real depth. You can feel the ceremony, care, and experience in the music. I keep returning to it because it has earned my trust.
