About The Magic Garden

Why a modern temple?

The summer solstice of 2025 was a day of anniversaries for Jacob. It was 41 years since a crisis turned his life around and set him looking for answers to who he is. It was 30 years since the idea of The Magic Garden came to him. And it was 25 years since he and Ecaterina married. Here he tells you what they built the place for – and why he calls it a temple.

41 years with the Adventure of Self-Discovery

“Be realistic – plan for a miracle.” – Osho

Today, on the longest day of the year, I look back on 41 years since my shamanic initiation crisis – the moment the Universe handed me a task and I said yes. Ever since, the Adventure of Self-Discovery has been the axis around which everything I do revolves.

30 years with the vision of The Magic Garden

Thirty years ago I received a vision of a modern Eleusis. That this once-wild dream now stands alive before us reminds me of Osho's words above. The Magic Garden exists – living proof that miracles can be planned.

Silver wedding and soul partnership

This year Ecaterina and I celebrate 25 years of marriage – our silver wedding!

My beloved Elf Queen, thank you for the dance and for our thrilling, meaningful love odyssey. Thank you for believing in – and acting on – my wild vision.

Our life calling: guiding seekers through plant medicine, music, healing and transformation

Together we carry a focused life calling: to support seekers, those in need, psychonauts and inner travellers to:

  • move through psychological crises
  • navigate intense psycho-spiritual processes
  • release deep trauma
  • regain trust in the Universe, Nature, others and themselves
  • rekindle creativity and a purposeful life strategy
  • believe in – and act on – their dreams
  • open to “The Great Mystery”
  • find and sustain peace of mind.

With this calling in our hearts, we purposefully created The Magic Garden – our cosmic space station, modern temple and oasis of consciousness – offering a safe container for profound experiences and transformation.

Solstice launch of the book – 40 years of self-discovery in one guide

Jacob Moth holds up his new book in front of the wooden portal in The Magic Garden.
With the first printed copies, 21 June 2025.

On this solstice the first printed copies of my English edition arrive: The Magic Garden – The Adventure of Self-Discovery. The book condenses 40 years of exploration – one long, focused journey – into a user manual for everyone who visits our temple or walks the Adventure of Self-Discovery.

  • Purpose: to support, inspire, guide and expand consciousness while presenting the emerging transpersonal worldview in a creative, accessible way.
  • Contents: 11 interwoven pathways filled with art, photos, myths, depth psychology, tarot, astrology, spirituality and personal journey stories from 20 different people.
  • Foreword: by Rick Doblin, founder of MAPS (the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies).

I feel an extraordinary inner peace, harmony and joy – relief on a scale I have never known. Forty years devoted to one “project” is a long time; now, finally: Mission Complete.

I am 111% in service – to people, all life, Nature, the planet and the Universe – and I pray that both the book and our temple bring you miracles on your own path.

Rick Doblin, PhD, on the book

Jacob Moth's book is the culmination of his 40-year journey of exploration of consciousness, dedication, and vision – a lifelong journey inspired by Albert Hofmann's dream of creating and sustaining a modern Eleusis. Reading this book will not only provide joy and inspiration; it is also a true treasure trove of knowledge and information, invaluable not only for aspiring psychonauts but also for professional psychotherapists and dedicated inner travelers.
